I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at St George’s since completing my specialist and fellowship-level training. I specialise in knee surgery including arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, osteotomy and partial knee replacement for localised arthritis and total knee replacement for generalised arthritis. I also specialise in fracture surgery, having done a year long trauma fellowship and am currently departmental lead for Major Trauma.

As a consultant knee surgeon I perform around 100 knee arthroscopies, 50 ACL reconstructions and 50 knee replacements per year.

In addition to my clinical work I am also an Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor and am on the faculty of the Association for the Study of Internal Fixation (ASIF/AO). I regularly teach medical students and post-graduate junior doctors at St George’s.

My philosophy is of individualised care based on the best current evidence and at all times adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.
